The buds of this Yunnan Golden Buds are harvested in spring in the Jinggu region of Yunnan. This region is known for its traditional tea production and large-leaf wild trees. Yunnan is the largest tea region in China, located in the mid-south of the country, bordering Burma and Vietnam.
